(Hastings, Nebraska) The Dordt College Defender volleyball team rolled over Peru State (Nebraska) on Saturday morning in Hastings, Nebraska for their 13th win of the season. Dordt had little trouble in the rise and shine match with wins of 25-13, 25-17, 25-19.
Dordt was paced by Kendra Potgeter's 12 kills and Kelsey Van Dyke added ten while Kristin De Ronde added seven. Jessica De Stigter put up 20 assists and had six digs while Cassie Huizenga put up 13 assists. Amber Weingartner, Dorinda Hibma, Kelsey Van Dyke and April Solsma all had one service ace a piece.
Van Dyke led the team with 12 digs and Potgeter was in on four assisted blocks. Weingartner had ten digs. Dordt was perfect on serve receiving, making 41-41 passes cleanly.
Dordt will face Texas Wesleyan at noon on Saturday.
