Dordt College Volleyball vs. Lee (TN)-Dordt Tournament

(Sioux Center, Iowa) The Dordt College Lady Defender volleyball team won their second match at an Invitational tournament they are hosting this weekend with a 3-1 win over #17 Lee (TN).

The Lady Defenders led start to finish in game one and took a 30-21 decision. Dordt dug an 0-6 hole in game two but rebounded to take a hard-fought 33-31 win.

Lee held off the Dordt charge in game three for a 28-30 victory. In game four the Defenders took a lead of 19-11 only to see Lee take a 24-23 lead late in the game. Dordt maintained their composure late in the game for a 30-27 win.

Dordt was led by Kristin De Ronde's 19 kills and Lindsey Van Wyk added 18 with 29 digs. Emily Van Voorst put up 38 assists and Traci Kooima shared team honors with Van Wyk in digs with 29.
