Dordt College Volleyball vs. Sioux Falls

(Sioux Center, Iowa) The Dordt College Defender volleyball team won their eighth match in a row on Tuesday night with a convincing 3-0 victory over the visiting Sioux Falls Cougars.

Dordt led game one start to finish, taking a dominating 30-10 game one win. Sioux Falls fought valiantly in game two but lost a 30-26 decision and dropped a 30-14 game three decision.

Dordt was led by Lindsey Van Wyk's 13 kills, two aces and 26 digs. Kristin De Ronde added nine kills and Larissa Veldhuizen posted seven. Emily Van Voorst had 28 assists and Traci Kooima dug up 16 Sioux Falls attempted kills.

Sioux Falls was paced by Beth Mathes with six kills.

Dordt College improves to 5-3 in the GPAC while Sioux Falls drops to 2-6.
