(Hastings, Nebraska) Dordt lost in four games to the undefeated Azuza Pacific in the Defenders'third match of the Hastings Tournament.

Taking the first game 31-29, Dordt went on to lose the next three games. The loss to Azuza Pacific, currently the number 10 team in the country, put the Defenders at 1-2 for the tournament so far.

Kristin DeRonde put down 23 kills on Azuza with Lindsey Van Wyk following with 13. Van Wyk also recorded 15 digs along with Traci Kooima (16), Betsy Van't Hul (12), and Liz Van Voorst (8). Steph Pueler had 8 kills overall and put up 39 assists for the team.
