Dordt College Volleyball vs. Briar Cliff

(Sioux City, Iowa) Losing in three, Dordt College was defeated by Briar Cliff in the Defender's second Conference loss on the season and 4th overall.

Battling out a 22-22 tie, Briar Cliff took the first game 30-24. Game two stayed close until the 11-11 tie-mark with Briar Cliff taking control of the game at 21-13. A 4-5 point differnce continued the whole way in the final game of the night, ending 30-23 in Briar Cliff's favor.

Kristin DeRonde led the team in kills with 19. Lindsey Van Wyk threw down 16 kills, recorded 15 digs, and went 12-12 in serving with 4 aces. Steph Peuler and Cassie Huizenga had 24 and 14 assists respectively, while Traci Kooima recorded 14 digs.
