Dordt College Volleyball vs. Evangel-Baker Tournament

(Baldwin City, Kansas) Dordt College lost a 3-0 decision to Evangel Friday at the Baker Tournament in Baldwin City, Kansas. The Lady Defenders lost narrow decisions in games one and two before dropping the third game of the match by a 30-23 decision, dropping their record to 4-3 for the season.
Haylee Bakker, a freshman from Sanborn, Iowa had 18 kills to lead the Lady Defenders while Kristin De Ronde added 12 and McKinzie Schmidt 11. Lindsey Van Wyk had a team high 30 digs to go along with eight kills and Emily Van Voorst put up 43 assists. Betsy Van't Hul had 23 digs and Van Voorst also had 16 digs.
