Dordt College Volleyball vs. NAIA National Tournament-Point Loma University

(Point Loma University-San Diego, California) The Dordt College Lady Defenders fell to 0-1 in pool play with a loss today to Point Loma University at the NAIA national tournament. Point Loma won game one 30-21 but Dordt came back to win games two and three, leading from start to finish in games 30-27 and 30-22.

Game four had Point Loma pulling away from a 14-14 tie to win 30-25 and the Sea Lions held on for the win in game five 15-13.

Dordt was topped by Tara De Boer's 18 kills while Rachel Van Beek had 14. Kate Alderson led the Sea Lions with 23 kills.
