Dordt College Volleyball vs. NAIA Region IV Tournament-College of Saint Mary

November 20, 2004

(Sioux Center, Iowa) Dordt College wins the 2004 NAIA Region IV volleyball tournament with a 3-1 match win over the College of Saint Mary at the De Witt Gym. Dordt College won game one handily 30-17 but lost game two 30-27. Dordt took control of game three late to forge a 30-21 decision. Game four required some late heroics. After a 25-25 tie the Flames took a 29-26 lead and served for the game, but failed. Dordt came back to lead 30-29 and eventually won by a 32-30 count.

Tara De Boer led Dordt with 20 kills while Rachel Pontier added 17. Emily Van Voorst put up 54 assists and Traci Kooima had 20 digs.

CSM was paced by Kristin Blair with 18 kills and Jennifer Sackett had 24 digs. Hannah Sheehan was right behind with 13 kills.
