Dordt College Volleyball vs. Hastings

October 9, 2004

(Sioux Center, Iowa) The Lady Defenders turned away the Hastings Broncos in GPAC action today 30-22, 30-21, 30-19. Game one featured 13 ties before Dordt pulled away from 17-17 with an eight point run. Games two and three were led by Dordt almost the entire way as the Lady Defenders won their 20th match of the season.

Dordt was topped by Tara De Boer with 16 kills. Amanda Eekhoff turned in 12 while Rachel Pontier added 10. Halley Van Laningham and Emily Van Voorst put up 21 and 23 assists respectively. Traci Kooima had 18 digs and Lindsey Van Wyk 12.

Hastings was paced by Erin Lenneman's seven kills and seven blocks while Celeste Bauer had seven kills and seven digs. Lindsey Evans had 24 assists in the loss.
