Dordt College Volleyball vs. Briar Cliff

(Sioux City, Iowa) The Lady Defenders defeated Briar Cliff tonight 3-0 Tara De Boer finished the night with 14 kills, 2 ace serves, as well as a solo block with 3 assisted. Emily Van Voorst led the team with 24 assists.
Dordt College pulled away for the ten point win in game one. Game two was tied nine times, the last time at 9-9 before Dordt extended the lead to 18-10. Briar Cliff fought back to pressure the Lady Defenders at 28-27 but Dordt scored the next two points to win 30-27. The loss in game two took the wind out of the Briar Cliff sails and they were never really in game three, losing by a 30-12 count.
