Dordt College Volleyball vs. Spring Hill (Alabama)-NAIA National Tournament

(San Diego, California) The Dordt Lady Defenders opened their fifth trip to the NAIA National Tournament with a win today over the Spring Harbor Badgers. Dordt was never really challenged in a match that featured just three ties--two of them early in game two and one early in game three.

Rachel Van Beek led a balanced Dordt attack with 13 kills and Tara DeBoer added 12. Alisa Den Hartog had 39 assists while also serving for two ace serves. Jill Bouma had two ace serves along with Megan Groeneweg. Tricia Beckering was tops on the team in digs with 17 while Bouma had 16. Dordt College is now 1-0 in pool play.
