(Newton, KS) Dordt lost in the NAIA Region IV Championship match today to the College of Saint Mary Flames of Omaha, Nebraska, 3-1. Game scores were 15-13, 15-8, 9-15, 15-0. The 4th ranked Flames of the College of Saint Mary, and the 7th ranked Dordt College Lady Defenders both advance to the NAIA National Volleyball Tournament November 29-December 2 in West Palm Beach, Florida, at Palm Beach Atlantic College. The tournament seedings and pool pairings will be announced on Tuesday, November 21, 2000. Dordt is 31-7, and Saint Mary is 30-4.
