Dordt College Volleyball vs. Briar Cliff

(Sioux City, IA) Dordt handled the Chargers of Briar Cliff with unexpected ease this evening by putting together one of the Lady Defenders' better played matches of the season. Dordt won in three games, 15-11, 15-6, 15-8. Karen Netz and Darci Bouma led the Lady Defender offensive with 15 and 14 kills respectively. A.J. Poppema and Amanda Franken each served three ace serves in the match. Alisa Kooima lofted 25 assists while Stacy Vander Tuig followed closely with 24 assists. Dordt improves to 22-5, 4-1 in the GPAC. Dordt has offered Briar Cliff who falls to 21-2, both of their two losses on the season.
