(West Palm Beach, FL) The 14th ranked Lady Defenders improved to 2-0 on the young season with a 3-0 win this afternoon over Montana Tech. Game scores at the Palm Beach Atlantic Welcome Classic were 15-2, 17-15, 15-2. Karen Netz had 11 kills, while Dre Johnson added 10 in the win. Alisa Kooima contributed 39 assists in a winning effort. Sophomore Jena Freiborg from Sacred Heart, Minnesota, fired four aces in the straight sets win.
