(Madison, SD) The Dordt College Lady Defenders upped their season mark to 19-1 with a straight sets win over Dakota State University in Madison, SD 15-8, 15-7, and 15-12 Tuesday night in Madison.
Dordt was co-led in kills tonight by Darci Bouma and Karen Netz with 10 kills a piece. Junior setter Kim Van Dyken lofted 34 assists in the three game match. Van Dyken ranks 10th nationally (NAIA) in assists per game with a 12.2 per game average. Mindy Boogerd once again led the Lady Defenders in digs with 17. Boogerd, the senior from Rock Valley, IA, leads the nation in digs (NAIA) with an average of 5.2 digs per game. (National stats are compiled by the AVCA (American Volleyball Coaches Association))
