Dordt College Volleyball vs. Northwestern

(Clinton, IA) Dordt College faced their Sioux County rivals Northwestern in the championship match of the NAIA Tournament in Clinton, Iowa. When it was all over the Lady Defenders of Dordt had defeated Northwestern for the second time this season, this time3-1. Game scores were 15-6, 8- 15, 15-8, and 15-11.
Dordt was led by Darci Bouma’s 20 kills and Janna Van Donge added 16 kills in the win. Junior setter Kim Van Dyken carded 55 assists in the match, while Mindy Boogerd had 32 digs and went 35 for 35 in serve reception. Bouma put down three ace serves as the 20th ranked Lady Defenders went undefeated for the weekend and hiked their season record to16-1.
The loss dropped the Red Raiders to 17-3 for the year.
