(Sioux Center, IA) The Lady Defenders of Dordt College improved their season record to 12-1 with a straight sets victory over Mt. Marty tonight in Sioux Center. Game scores were 15-1, 15-0, and 15-6. The match counted towards the South Dakota-Iowa Conference standings as Dordt’s record is now 1-0.
Dordt was led by Darci Bouma’s nine kills, the freshman now has 177 kills for the season to lead the Lady Defenders. Kim Van Dyken put up 33 assists and Mindy Boogerd added 14 digs in the match.
The loss drops the Mount Marty College Lancers to 1-13 for the season.
