Dordt College Volleyball vs. Sioux Falls

(Sioux Center, IA) The Dordt College Lady Defenders rolled to their eighth win of the season in straight sets tonight in Sioux Center versus the University of Sioux Falls Cougars. Game scores were 15-8, 15-9, and 15-3. Earlier in the day the Lady Defenders found themselves at number 21 in the latest NAIA Volleyball Poll.
Dordt was led by freshman Darci Bouma with 16 kills; earlier Tuesday Darci was named the South Dakota-Iowa Conference Player-of-the-Week for her performances in two Dordt wins last week. Janna Van Donge and Karen Netz each added 10 kills in the win as Dordt remains undefeated in 1998. Setter Kim Van Dyken put up 41 assists and Mindy Boogerd added 19 digs for Dordt.
Crystal Nesheim and Misten Wassink led the Cougars with six kills a piece. Setter Jessica swick added 16 assists and Cherie Abma had 14 digs for Sioux Falls.
