(Mitchell, South Dakota) The tenth-rated Lady Defenders knocked off Dakota Wesleyan this evening 3-1. Dordt took Games 1 and 2 easily before Dakota Wesleyan rallied back to take Game 3 in extra points. Dordt fought back in the fourth to take the game and the match.
Tara De Boer had 18 kills to lead the way for the Defenders. Rachel Van Beek and Rachel Pontier chipped in 16 kills and 15 kills, respectively. Megan Groeneweg split time with the injured Alisa Den Hartog and had 39 assists to go along with 2 ace serves. Den Hartog had 24 assists.
