(Soiux Center, IA) The Dordt women's volleyball team improved to 7-0 in SDIC Conference play with a 3-0 win over Huron University today. Game scores were 15-1, 15-6, and 15-0. Kim Van Dyken lofted 30 assists as Andrea Johnson lead the team in kills with 11. A.J. Poppema led the Lady Defenders on the service line today, going 9-12 with 3 aces, as Lecia Vermeer went 12-12 with an ace. Poppema also led the team defensively with eight service receptions as Van Dyken recorded 7 defensive digs. The win improves Dordt's overall record to 21-4.
