Dordt College Volleyball vs. South Dakota Tech

(Sioux Center, IA) The Dordt College volleyball team improved to 20-4 overall as they defeated South Dakota Tech 3-0 today. Leading the Lady Defenders offensively was Darci Bouma who went 14-14 with 12 kills, with the help of Kim Van Dyken who recorded 40 assists. Lecia Vermeer led the team from the service line going 11-12 with three aces, adding to the team total of seven aces for the game. On the defensive side, Andrea Johnson had six block assists, as Laura Vander Pol led the team in receptions going 9-12. The SDIC Conference win improves the Lady Defenders conference record to 6-0, while the Hardrockers drop to 1-3.
