(Sioux Center, IA) The Lady Defenders improved to 5-0 in the South Dakota Iowa Conference with a 3-0 win over Black Hills State today. The game scores were 15-9, 15-1, and 16-14. Leading Dordt offensively was Darci Bouma and Andrea Johnson with 10 kills each, while Kim Van Dyken lofted 28 assists in the win. A.J. Poppema led the team on the service line going 18-20 with four aces. Defensively, Laura Van Kley and Darci Bouma each recorded 6 digs while Bouma led in service receptions as well, going 14-17. The Lady Defenders are now 19-4 overall.
