Dordt College Volleyball vs. Briar Cliff

(Des Moines, IA) The Lady Defenders were runner-up finishers at the NAIA Iowa Tournament this weekend, ending it with a 3-0 win over the Briar Cliff Chargers. Game scores were 15-9, 15-12, and 15-11. Leading the team offensively once again was Karen Netz who went 32-34 with 18 kills, and Andrea Johnson with 16 kills. Kim Van Dyken collected 61 assists and went 18-18 with an ace on the service line, while A.J. Poppema went 22-24 with an ace and led the team in digs with 10.
