(Omaha, NE) The seventh ranked Lady Defenders travelled to Omaha, Nebraska for a battle of the top 10 today, going head to head with the College of Saint Mary who are ranked sixth. The Flames gave Dordt their first loss of the 1999 season as the Lady Defenders dropped the match 3 games to 1, with scores of 15-7, 15-13, 4-15, and 15-11. Dordt was led in kills by Karen Netz with 19 as Kim Van Dyken lofted 63 assists in the loss. The win improves the College of Saint Mary's record to 10-0 while Dordt stands at 6-1.
