Dordt College Softball vs. Jamestown

(Tucson, Arizona) Dordt College was done in by four errors in their game with Jamestown that led to five unearned runs and the Defenders dropped an 8-4 decision to the North Dakota based school.

Three of Dordt's runs came in the third when they were down 4-0. The three runs came courtesy one hit, a Sidney Larsen double that knocked in a run. Dordt tied the game with a run in the top of the fourth with Ashley Van Kooten providing a double that scored Sadie Bolze who had doubled with one out.

After a scoreless bottom of the fourth and top of the fifth Jamestown came through with three runs in the bottom of the fifth on two hits and two walks.

Van Kooten had two hits and a run batted in. Sidney Larsen had a run batted in as wel as Dordt banged out three doubles. Larsen came on in relief and went five and a third innings and was charged with four runs--two of them earned and walked four with a strikeout.
