Dordt College Softball vs. Nebraska Wesleyan

(Lincoln, Nebraska) A six run second inning propelled the Nebraska Wesleyan Prairie Wolves to a 12-2, five inning decision over Dordt College on Saturday afternoon in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Dordt got one run in the third after getting down 6-0 with Kassidy Van Voorst scoring on an error to cut the difference to 6-1.

Wesleyan added two in the third and four more in the fifth before Van Voorst scored again for Dordt, this time coming around on a Shantelle Gritters single after Van Voorst had singled through the left side of the infield to reach base.

Sidney Larsen took the loss with three strikeouts and she allowed 12 hits. Six of the runs Nebraska Wesleyan allowed were unearned. Gritters had two of Dordt's five hits--a pair of singles.
