Dordt College Softball vs. Indiana Tech

(Clermont, Florida) Indiana Tech banged out seven runs in the fifth inning and took a 9-1 win over Dordt on Tuesday afternoon in Clermont, Florida.

Dordt tied the game at 1-1 with a Kaitlyn Lockhorst single that scored Becca Hengeveld who reached on a single initially. Indiana Tech then capped the game with a seven run fifth inning on seven hits for the shortened win.

Dordt was outhit 11-3 with Lockhorst, Sarah Seymour and Hengeveld all getting base knocks. Brittany Kooiker started the game and went three and two-thirds innings while allowing two runs on four hits with one earned run and two walks.

Dordt stands 0-6 heading into the final day of their Florida trip and will play two games on Wednesday, March 17.
