(Sioux Center, Iowa) Alysia Wittmaack was the winning pitcher in game two of Nebraska Wesleyan's doubleheader sweep of the Dordt Defenders in a 4-1 decision in Sioux Center. Wittmaack was on the mound for the game one win as well.

Dordt mustered five hits in the loss with their run coming in the bottom of the sixth when Sarah Seymour smacked an rbi single that scored Kaitlyn Lockhorst. Dordt got two hits from Amber Soodsma and one hit each from Lockhorst, Kassandra Heynen, Jaclyn Ver Mulm and Seymour.

Wesleyan scored one in the first and second and two in the sixth and outhit Dordt 11-4. Amanda Nikkel went the distance for Dordt and allowed two earned runs and one walk while striking out four.

Dordt is 2-2 in the league and 6-10 overall while Nebraska Wesleyan improves to 3-1 in the GPAC and 9-5 overall. Dordt is off until Wednesday, April 7 when they face Sioux Falls on the road.
