Dordt College Softball vs. Oklahoma City

(Oklahoma City, Oklahoma) Highlights for the Dordt softball team were hard to come by on Tuesday afternoon in their doubleheader with Oklahoma City University in a game played in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Dordt surrendered four runs in the first inning and two more in the third and fifth while mustering three bases on balls on offense. The Defenders were unable to get a hit off the #4 ranked Stars with their only baserunners coming via walks to Dorinda Hibma, Megan Huizenga and Kristin Santana.

Sarah Visser took the loss with 11 hits allowed and eight runs given up. Visser allowed five earned runs and struck out three before the game ended with two outs in the bottom of the fifth when they plated the eight run difference.

Dordt is 3-11 and open GPAC play on Friday and Saturday against Concordia and Nebraska Wesleyan.
