Dordt College Softball vs. Concordia

(Seward, Nebraska) The Dordt College softball team lost an 8-0 five inning decision at the hands of Concordia in the opener of a conference doubleheader in Seward, Nebraska on Friday.

The Defenders allowed three in the first and four in the third and the Bulldogs pushed the game-ender across in the fifth, ending the game by virtue of the eight run difference rule.

Dordt was outhit 8-3 in the lsos with Dorinda Hibma getting a double, Sarah Visser a single and Jaclyn Ver Mulm a single. Visser was the pitcher of record and was charged with five earned runs on eight hits, two walks and six strikeouts. Visser worked four-plus innings officially.
