Dordt College Softball vs. Jamestown

(Tucson, Arizona) The Dordt College Defender softball team dropped a 9-1 five inning decision to Jamestown (North Dakota) on Friday in Tucson, Arizona. The Defenders lone run came on a single by Kristin Santana and Sarah Visser absorbed the pitching loss where she allowed three earned runs while striking out three and walking one. Kassandra Heynen had two of Dordt's hits in the loss.

Jamestown scored one in the first and two more in the third before putting the game away early with a five run fifth inning. Dordt's lone run came in the fourth inning.

The Defenders were originally scheduled to play McKendree but due to a scheduling change the Defenders faced Jamestown, a Dakota Athletic Conference member.
