(Sioux Center, Iowa) Dordt started off a double header Monday afternoon by losing 8-0 in 5 innings against Morningside.

Dordt struggled the whole game barely getting anyone on base. Morningside took full advantage and scored a run in the 1st, 4 in the 3rd, 1 in the 4th, and 2 in the 5th. Dordt lost with a final score of 8-0.

Morningside hitters combined for 10 hits while Dordt only had 2 baserunners all game. Their only hit came from Mandy Visser in the 2nd inning.

Sarah Visser took the loss, allowing 5 earned runs, 7 hits, and 4 strikeouts.

Dordt falls to 3-13 on the season, 0-3 in the conference. Morningside moves on to 23-5, 4-1 in conference play.
