Dordt College Softball vs. Dana

(Sioux Center, Iowa) Dordt fell again in game 2 Saturday afternoon against Dana losing 11-0.

Dana got it started ealry again but this time poured it on big. They scored 3 in the 1st, another in the 2nd, 3 more in the 4th and 4 in the 5th. Dordt never answered to any of those runs and only collected 2 hits. The game ended after 5 innings with Dana out front, 11-0.

Dana scored 11 runs on 14 hits and made no errors whild Dordt scored no runs on 2 hits and made 1 error. Jaclyn Ver Mulm and Kristin Santana accounted for the hits while Carissa Van Gorp pitched 4 innings giving up 9 hits and 6 earned runs.

Dordt falls to 2-14 in the conference, 5-23 overall and Dana improves to 26-13 overall, 13-1 in the GPAC.
