(Fremont, Nebraska) A fourth inning run was enough for the Midland Lutheran Warriors to hold off the Dordt College Defenders in Great Plains Athletic Conference softball Saturday afternoon in Fremont, Nebraska.

The Defenders' Sarah Visser was solid on the mound and the Dordt defense played without a miscue, but Dordt was limited to five singles in their eighth loss in as many conference outings in the 1-0 decision.

Visser allowed eight hits with one earned run, one walk and struck out three while Kelly Sladek kept the Dordt offense at bay, allowing five hits and striking eight.

The Defenders will travel to Briar Cliff on Tuesday, April 17 at 5:00 in conference play.
