Dordt College Softball vs. Oklahoma Christian-Oklahoma City University Tournament

(Oklahoma City, Oklahoma) The Dordt College Defender softball team lost a 7-0 decision at the hands of Oklahoma Christian this afternoon in the first of two games at the Oklahoma City University tournament.

Dordt surrendered one run in the first another in the third to trail 2-0. The score held until the sixth inning when Oklahoma Christian tacked on two more and then finished the game with three in the seventh frame for the 7-0 final.

Dordt was limited to three singles by Amanda Pothoven, Jaclyn VerMulm and Mandy Visser while Oklahoma Christian had nine hits off of losing pitcher Carissa Van Gorp.

Dordt slips to 0-5 with the loss.
