Dordt College Softball vs. Minnesota Crookston-Morningside Tournament

(Sioux City, Iowa) Dordt broke the game open with a five-run third inning that featured a two-run triple by Amanda Pothoven and RBI singles by Tami Kaptein and Megan Groeneweg. The Defenders had taken a 2-0 lead in the top of the second on a run scoring double by Lisa Moore and a RBI single by Groeneweg. Winning pitcher Mandy Visser pitched a shutout in the abbreviated five-inning contest.
