Dordt College Women's Soccer vs. Northwestern College

(Sioux Center, Iowa) The Dordt Lady Defender soccer team kept their record in the Great Plains Athletic Conference perfect with a 8-0 win over Northwestern today. The game was tied 0-0 with ten minutes left in the first half when Julie Van Der Kooi scored a goal. Before the rain soaked game was over Meghan Graham had a pair of goals and two assists. Angie Katsma had two assists and Nicole De Blaey, Michelle Veldhuisen, Stephanie Schippers, Bethany Nishimoto and Rose Grantham all had goals. Larissa Brown and Erin Piersma combined for the shut out in goal as the Lady Defender defense allowed just one shot on goal by Northwestern.
