Dordt College Women's Soccer vs. Jamestown

(Jamestown, ND) The Dordt College women’s soccer team lost a 3-1 non-conference decision to Jamestown (North Dakota) on Saturday afternoon, September 21. The Defenders were tied 1-1 at halftime with the Jimmies before surrendering two second half goals.

Jamestown scored first when Hannah Langseth scored in the seventh minute off an assist by Kara Wahl. The Defenders answered when Nicole Postman found the goal in the 13th minute for her third goal of the season and the scored remained tied till the halftime break.

Jamestown scored in the 49th minute for a 2-1 lead when Monica Noria scored on an unassisted goal and the hosts put the game out of reach with a goal in the 81st minute by Langseth.

Dordt was outshot on goal 14-4 with Deianira Felts making 11 saves.

Dordt slips to 0-7 while Jamestown is now 3-6. Dordt will face Clarke in Dubuque, Iowa on Wednesday, September 25 in its final non-conference game of the season.
