(Columbia, Missouri) Kelly Ross was a one woman wrecking crew for the Columbia Cougars in a 9-0 win over the Dordt Defenders in soccer Saturday, October 6 in Columbia, Missouri.
Ross scored three goals and assisted on three others as the Cougars scored four goals in the first half and another five in the second half as they outshot Dordt overall 32-4 and 18-3 on goal.
The hosts scored in the 15th, 29th, 35th and 43rd minutes. The scoring barrage continued in the 49th, 56th, 74th, 84th and 87th minutes of the second half.
Emily Holz made nine saves in goal for the Defenders. Dordt is now 1-9-2 overall and stand 0-4 in the GPAC when they host Dakota Wesleyan on Wednesday, October 10. Columbia is 5-7 overall and 3-1 in their conference after the Saturday win.
