Dordt College Women's Soccer vs. Hastings

(Hastings, Nebraska) The Hastings Broncos scored a 6-0 win over the Dordt Defenders in women's soccer play Saturday afternoon in Hastings, Nebraska, closing the Defender season.

Hastings scored five goals in the first half as they outshot the Defenders 32-1. The Broncos scored in the seventh and ninth minutes to start the game and then tacked on two more in the 34th and 35th minutes of the half. Hastings got one more in 44th minute to send it to intermission 5-0. The hosts finished the scoring in the 87th minute.

Dordt's Katie Kortman played the final 45 minutes in goal for the Defenders and allowed one goal and faced ten shots on goal. Emily Holz played the first 45 minutes in goal for the Defenders who close the season with an 0-9-1 GPAC record and a 1-14-3 overall mark. Hastings had already secured the regular season GPAC championship.
