Dordt College Women's Soccer vs. Jamestown College

(Sioux Center, Iowa) Dordt College lost a 2-1 decision to Jamestown on Saturday, September 15 in non-conference women's soccer in Sioux Center.

The Jimmies scored in the 80th minute to unlock a 1-1 tie.

Gabrielle Lane scored on an unassisted goal in the fifth minute for a 1-0 lead. Megan Knapper scored in the 29th minute when the Jamestown goal keeper couldn't hang on to a save after a corner kick and Knapper knocked it in.

Jamestown won it with a goal in the 80th minute when Lexie Staneski got one past Katie Kortman for the 2-1 final.

Dordt was outshot 8-6 and 6-3 on goal. Kortman had four saves for the Defenders.

Dordt is 0-4-2 overall while Jamestown is 3-3-1. Dordt will face A I B on Tuesday, September 18 in Fort Dodge, Iowa.
