Dordt College Women's Soccer vs. Minot State

(Minot, ND) Dordt College slipped to 2-2 in women's non-conference soccer action with a 2-1 loss to Minot State (North Dakota) on Friday afternoon in Minot.

Minot State got a goal from Jamie Council in the 41st minute off an assist from Brittany Hunt and the Beavers added a second score in the 47th minute when Hunt scored unassisted.

Dordt closed in with a goal in the 85th minute on a cross from Rindy De Nooy headed in by Kelly Smies.

Katie Kortman was in goal for Dordt and had five saves while facing a total of 12 shots. Dordt had 11 shots and five on goal.

Dordt is 2-2 while Minot State improves to 3-0. Dordt will face Minnesota State-Moorhead on Saturday in Jamestown, North Dakota.
