Dordt College Women's Soccer vs. Mount Marty

(Yankton, SD) Dordt College won its third game in a row to improve to 3-1 in the Great Plains Athletic Conference with a 3-0 win over the Mount Marty Lancers Tuesday afternoon in Yankton, South Dakota.

It took a while for the Defenders to get going with the visitors finally breaking through with a Victoria Vasquez goal off a Rindy De Nooy corner kick in the in the 78th minute. De Nooy then scored on a penalty kick in the 81st minute and Tara Postma added a goal in the 85th minute to cap the scoring at 3-0.

Dordt outshot the hosts 10-2 on goal and Katie Kortman recorded the win in goal for the Defenders with the two saves.

Dordt is back to within a game of .500 and stand 5-6 overall and is 3-1 in the GPAC. Dordt will host St. Ambrose on Saturday at 2:00. Mount Marty drops to 0-10 overall and 0-4 in the GPAC.
