(Sioux Center, Iowa) Rindy De Nooy scored a goal in the 11th minute and that was all the offense either team would manage in a 1-0 win for the Dordt Defender women's soccer team over Nebraska Wesleyan on Saturday, October 1.
Dordt's goal was one of 11 shots on goal the Defenders recorded while limiting the visitors to four shots on goal.
Emily Holz recorded the shut out while making four saves for the Defenders. Dordt improves to 4-6 overall with the win and 2-1 in the conference. The Prairie Wolves are 3-6 overall and 1-2 in the conference. Dordt will next face Mount Marty on Tuesday in Yankton, South Dakota.
