Dordt College Women's Soccer vs. Trinity International: DC/NW Pizza Ranch Classic

(Sioux Center, Iowa) Trinity International dropped Dordt College 3-0 in women's soccer action on the pitch in Sioux Center, Iowa, Friday, September 2.

The Defenders surrendered a first half goal to Missy Loretto in the 10th minute. The Trojans didn't strike again until Diana Anderson hit a shot from 30 yards from the right side to the top left corner to extend the difference to 2-0 in the 56th minute. The visitors tacked on one more score in the 84th minute for the final of 3-0.

Dordt was out-shot 9-6. Oddly, Dordt had more shots registered on goal with five while the Trojans had four on frame. Katie Kortman took the loss in goal for the Defenders while Elizabeth Burynski registered the shut out.

Dordt is 1-1 and will face Waldorf on Saturday at 4:00. Trinity International improves to 1-3 and will face Northwestern on Saturday in Orange City as part of the Dordt/Northwestern Pizza Ranch Classic.
