Dordt College Women's Soccer vs. Doane

(Sioux Center, Iowa) The Doane Tigers got a Courtney Richards goal in the 71st minute to take a 1-0 win over Dordt in women's Great Plains Athletic Conference action on Saturday in Sioux Center.

Richards score broke a scoreless deadlock in which the Tigers managed a 7-6 advantage on shots on goal. Kelsey Stark made six saves in goal for the Tigers while Katie Kortman also made six saves while taking the loss.

Dordt did not manage a shot on goal after Doane scored the gamewinner. Doane is now 8-6-1 overall and 5-5 in the league while Dordt is 11-4-2 overall and 5-3-2 in the GPAC. Dordt travels to Briar Cliff on Tuesday in the Defenders regular season finale.
