Dordt College Women's Soccer vs. Mount Marty

(Yankton, South Dakota) All of the scoring was done in the first half of this afternoon's 1-1 double overtime tie between Dordt and Mount Marty in women's soccer.

Heidi Rozenboom scored on a long shot that bounced over the Lancer keeper in the first half and the Lancers answered with a goal of their own in the second half by Emily Rausch.

Dordt was unable to bang home a game winner although they had 12 shots on goal to Mount Marty's three. The Defenders also controlled play with 16 corner kicks while Mount Marty had none. Katie Kortman made two saves in goal for the Defenders who are now 11-3-2 overall and 5-2-2 in the conference with two games to go. Mount Marty is now 1-13-1 and 0-8-1 in the conference. Dordt will face Doane in Sioux Center on Saturday afternoon in the regular season home finale.
