(Blair, NE) The Dordt College Defender women's soccer team moved to 10-1 overall and 5-1 in the conference with a 2-0 win over the Dana Vikings on Saturday in Blair, Nebraska.
Dordt got on the board in the 42nd minute on an unassisted goal by Morgan Rodenburgh. The Defenders tested the Dana defense again in the final minute of the half when a Kate Du Mez corner kick led to a goal by Kristi Ouwinga to make the score 2-0 and the lead stood to the end.
Dordt outshot the hosts 9-5 with Steph Goslinga making one save in goal for the Defenders.
Dana falls to 3-3 in the league and 6-4-1 overall while Dordt stands 5-1 at the midpoint of the league schedule. Dordt will host Briar Cliff on Tuesday at 2:00.
