(Sioux Center, Iowa) The Dordt College Defenders and Nebraska Wesleyan Prairie Wolf women's soccer teams played to a 0-0 double overtime tie Saturday afternoon in Sioux Center.
The Defender women were turned away at the goal 14 times, forcing 19 shots, 14 of which were on goal. The Prairie Wolves had four shots on goal and 11 shots overall. Rosalyn De Pooter made five saves to preserve the tie while Jessica Cain was fending off Dordt shots for Wesleyan.
Dordt is now 3-1-1 in the league and 5-2-1 overall while Wesleyan is 1-2-1 and 2-5-2.
Dordt travels to Morningside Tuesday afternoon, October 2 in Sioux City, Iowa.
