Dordt College Women's Soccer vs. Hastings

(Hastings, Nebraska) The Dordt College Defenders lost a 5-0 decision in women's soccer at Hastings College this afternoon in Great Plains Athletic Conference action.

The Defenders surrendered two goals in the first half and three more in the second half. Jesse Herse and Zoe Cranmer each had two goals for the Broncos and Stacy Klich had one. Dordt mustered four shots on goal and Rosalyn De Pooter was in goal for the Defenders and takes the loss with four saves.

Dordt had beaten Hastings last year in Sioux Center by a 5-0 count. Hastings leads the series 11-5 between the two. Dordt drops to 4-2 overall and 2-1 in the conference while Hastings is 4-1-1 overall and improves to 2-0 in league play. Dordt is scheduled to travel to Sioux Falls on Wednesday, September 26 for a 5:00 game.
